2. Scope
This notice explains how Dhimson handles personal data when you visit the website, create a learner account, purchase or access a course, book a tutor, apply as a tutor or partner, contact support, submit a grievance, subscribe to communications or otherwise interact with Dhimson Learn.
3. Adults-only launch
Dhimson Learn currently offers accounts and services only to individuals aged 18 years or above. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact info@dhimson.com.
4. Personal data we collect
Depending on your role and activity, we may collect account and identity data; learning and transaction data; tutor and partner application data; communications and support data; device and usage data (optional analytics only with appropriate cookie choices); and live-session data where recording is explained on the session page.
We store passwords only as protected cryptographic representations, not readable passwords.
5. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to create and secure accounts; provide courses and tutoring; process orders, payments and refunds; assess tutors and partners; communicate service information; respond to complaints and privacy requests; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal obligations; improve the service with appropriately configured tools; and send optional marketing where you have made an appropriate choice.
6. Legal grounds and consent
Dhimson is preparing its notices, consent records, security, rights and grievance systems for applicable Indian data-protection requirements while complying with currently applicable law. Where consent is used, the request is clear, specific and capable of withdrawal.
7. Marketing choices
Marketing email, SMS, telephone and WhatsApp choices are separate from account creation and purchases. You may unsubscribe through the message or account settings. Service messages such as payment receipts and security alerts are not marketing.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Essential cookies support security, authentication, checkout and saved privacy preferences. Optional analytics or advertising technologies are controlled through the cookie preference tool. See the Cookie Notice.
9. Sharing and recipients
We may share necessary personal data with course providers, tutors or partners where required to deliver the service; Razorpay and other enabled gateways and payment participants; hosting, email, video, support, analytics, security and verification providers; professional advisers; and authorities where legally required. We do not sell or rent personal data.
10. Tutor and partner access
A provider receives only the learner information necessary for the approved course or session and must not use learner data for unrelated marketing or unauthorised exports.
11. International processing
Some service providers may process information in India and service providers used for hosting, email and payments. Dhimson will implement applicable contractual and legal measures at the time of transfer.
12. Retention
We retain data only for a documented purpose and period, then delete, anonymise or restrict it unless continued retention is legally required. Detailed retention periods are maintained in an internal schedule aligned with this notice.
13. Security
Dhimson uses administrative, technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and risk. Report a suspected account compromise or vulnerability to info@dhimson.com.
14. Data incidents
Dhimson maintains a process to assess, contain, document and report personal-data and cyber incidents according to applicable law and rules.
15. Your choices and requests
Subject to applicable law and verification, you may request access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, marketing and cookie management, or account closure. Use the Privacy Request form or contact info@dhimson.com.
